What am I learning?
Learning Intention: I am learning about applying mindfulness by being aware of my inner world and applying 'the drop my anchor' strategy to allow myself to engage, be present, focus my attention and bounce back.
Success Criteria
I can:
* identify the emotions of my inner world.
* identify how my emotions impact my ability to be present.
* rehearse the strategy of 'dropping anchor'.
* rehearse the 5 second rule.
* rehearse an anchoring thought.
* transfer these skills to everyday situations.
* apply the dropping anchor strategy when emotions become overwhelming.
